By air
Wrocław has its own airport which offers a number of regular international and domestic flights. The airlines that fly into the city include Lufthansa (Munich, Frankfurt), SAS Scandinavian Airlines (Copenhagen), Germanwings (Düseldorf) and Poland’s national carrier LOT and Eurolot (Paris, Zürich). The low cost airlines flying to and from Wrocław include Ryanair and Wizz Air. Domestic flights connect Wrocław with Warszawa and Gdańsk.
A bus 406 operates from the airport terminal building to central Wrocław between 5 AM and 11 PM every 20 minutes as well as the bus 249 is available between 11 PM and 5 AM. The price of single-ride ticket from Wroclaw Airport to the city center costs 3.00 PLZ (or 1.50 PLZ for students or ISIC/EURO 26 Holders).
The Airport-City center trip by taxi takes around 30 min depends on traffic. The price of trip is expected to be around 50 – 60 PLZ.
The major international airports in Poland close to Wrocław are Poznań, Katowice and Kraków. The above cities are directly connected to Wrocław by railway or by bus.
By train
Travelling to Wrocław by train may be a preferred option if you come from Ukraine. Wrocław has a direct railway connections with Lviv. However the trip to Wrocław by train with the change at Kraków (direct connection to Prague) or Poznań (direct connection to Berlin) can also be an option. By bus
Wrocław is a directly connected to Berlin and Prague by PolskiBus. However the connected trip with the change at Katowice can be possible from Vienna and Bratislava. From Vilnus the bus trip with a change at Warsaw is also the option. Wrocław is also a stop on the Eurolines international coach network that connects our agglomeration variety of European cities.
By car
Wrocław is located next to the A4 motorway running to the German border to the west and to Opole, Katowice and Kraków to the east. The A8 motorway acts as a western bypass of Wrocław, continued onward by the S8 expressway that connects the city to Łódź and Warsaw. From The Czech Republic one can travel by the road E65 from Prague toward Liberec (E442) and further from Zgorzelec to Wrocław along E40/A4. From Hradec Kralove to Wrocław European the road E67 can be used.

Get around the city
Wrocław city center is easily navigable on foot. Nevertheless for some trips to the city suburbs the public transportation can be used. Click here for more informations on trams and buses available: JakDojadę. One ride tickets: for normal lines 3.00zł/1.50zł, for express or night bus – 3.20zł/1.60zł. These tickets are not time-based or route-based – you must pay each time you enter a different vehicle. Period tickets: 30-minutes – 3.00zł/1.50zł, 60-minutes – 4.40zł/2.20zł, 90-minutes – 6.00zł/3.00zł, 24-hours – 11.00zł/5.50zł, 48-hours – 20.00zł/10.00zł, 72-hours – 26.00zł/13.00zł. The tickets you should be able to buy in most newspaper stores. In the city centre the ticket machines offering all types of fares can be also found. Additionally, in most of the buses and trams there should be a ticket machine installed.
